Dear Friends and Supporters,

Welcome! As I welcome you, I am both excited and humbled by the strong sense of ?welcome? I sense from all of you, the staff, and board, here at what I proudly and collectively now call ?our? Fountain Hills Theater.

My more than 30 years of theater experience both on, and off the stage has prepared me to lead this organization into 2020 and beyond. Many of you may have seen me on stage here at Fountain Hills Theater as an actor, or you may have worked with me when I directed this season?s smash-hit, Mamma Mia, or last season?s award-winning play, Fools. I am honored to have found my theatrical home here at Fountain Hills Theater, and I promise you an entertaining year ahead.

It can indeed be a challenge running a local theater company. I plan to build on the excellent reputation for success set by long-time Artistic Directors, Peter J. Hill, and Ross Collins. I value volunteers, and know they are the heart of any non-profit theater company. I am looking forward to building strong relationships with them, our generous donors and sponsors, and you, the members of the Fountain Hills community and its surrounding areas.

I truly hope you will join me on March 1st at our yearly gala, Broadway in the Hills: Havana Nights!, where you can be among the first to hear our 2020-2021 season lineup of shows! It will be an evening of sultry sounds, food, and rhythm that you shouldn?t miss. There are more special events coming up, as well as some remaining Curtain Call Cuisine dinner experiences available for those who love good food and company.

Thank you for supporting Fountain Hills Theater and the performing arts. I hope that you will continue to visit us in our little piece of serenity here in the shadow of the McDowell Mountains, as we strive to bring the best talent in the Valley to our stages?and please, be sure to stop me and say, ?Hello!?

Michael P. Wallot
Executive Director, Fountain Hills Theater
