Dear Friends and Supporters,
Welcome and thank you for joining us here at Fountain Hills Theater! I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy the hilarious comedy, Fully Committed, in which Patrick Walsh, a member of The Utah Shakespeare company for 11 years and currently Associate Artistic Director of Southwest Shakespeare, will be playing over 40 characters!
It is with great pleasure that I and the Board introduce the new Executive Director of Fountain Hills Theater, Michael Wallot. Many of you know Michael and have seen him onstage in FHT shows. Michael also directed our recent sold-out production of Mamma Mia!, and our production of Fools. He loves this theater and will be a great asset to our team!
Michael brings with him over 30 years of theater and business experience. He was previously the Producing Artistic Director for the Star Theater Company in Oceanside, CA; the Artistic Director of the Camino Real Playhouse in Orange County, CA, and the Managing Director of the Corner Bistro Dinner Theater in Scranton, PA. Michael recently relocated to the Valley from Southern California, where he owned and operated The Broadway Bound Academy, a small chain of theater schools, from 2006- 2015. In the fall of 2015, he moved to the Phoenix area for a management role at The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
We sincerely hope that you will join us for an evening of food and entertainment, in support of our community theater by participating in upcoming fundraisers. Tickets continue to be on sale for Curtain Call Cuisine dinner experiences, and for Broadway in the Hills: Havana Nights! Special engagements, benefits and fundraisers are listed on our website at fhtaz.org, on Facebook @fountainhillsheater, and on Instagram @fhttheater.
Thanks to the generous support of many wonderful businesses and private donors we have been able to repair damage caused by a flood and update our facility. The grand reveal will take place January 24th at Opening Night of A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love & Murder.
Fountain Hills Theater could not continue to put on these amazing productions without you, our patrons, our generous hardworking board members, staff, donors, sponsors, advertisers and all our beloved volunteers. We believe in the value that community theater brings to all people. Theater only exists through your generous support.
President, Fountain Hills Theater
